Make-Up (Feat. Hoya)

“I should apologize to her,” Hoya told himself as he laid on his bed at the INFINITE dorm.

“Yeah, you really should,” Woohyun piped into the conversation Hoya was having with himself.

“Did you think I was too much?” Hoya asked turning his head towards the doorway.

“Do I think?” Sunggyu interrupts. “No, I know you were too much.”

“From the looks of it earlier, I think she was serious when she said she was done.” Woohyun adds.

Hoya sits up giving his hyungs’ strange looks, “what do you mean by serious?”

After his hyungs explained their theory to him he got out of bed put his jacket on and headed for the door.

“Where you going?” Sunggyu asked.

Coolly he looked back at them and said, “to get my girl.”

And with that he ran all the way to your guys’ apartment. Hoping and praying that you were inside fast sleep he crept inside. Going straight to the room he turned on the lights and you were no were to be found. Looking around none of your things was actually there. Even the bookshelves where half of your books took room of were gone. Rushing over to your closet your side of the closet was empty. He closed his eyes and let out a heavy sigh.

“Shit, you really over done it this time, Lee Howon.”

“What are you gonna do now?” Sungyeol asked when Infinite had a meeting in their living a few hours later.

Hoya’s silent for a few seconds before he sighs and shakes his head, “she’s made it very clear that she was done with this, done with everything, and finally done with me. What else can I do but let her continue and live her life happily without me. I’m sure wherever she is and whatever she’s doing is better than suffering with me, right now.”

The boys each shared a look before looking back at Hoya.

“You’re not going to go after her?”

Hoya shook his head, “I know where she is. I saw her earlier, but I’ve already been too harsh on her. I won’t force her to stay with me if she doesn’t want to.”

Months Later…

“Bye, Miss Do,” cutiepie Jaejoong waved as he and his mother walked out to their car.

You smiled, “bye, Jaejoong, I’ll see tomorrow.”

After you and Hoya broke up you moved in with your best friend. She worked a part time job while juggling her student activities and to help her out you went out and got two part time jobs. Hoya tilted his hat lower and hid behind the tree when you glanced in the general direction he was standing in.

The sky thundered and you looked up at the rather grey sky with a frown, “oh great. Please don’t rain yet.” You begged running back into the day care to grab your things.

Bidding your co-workers a good night and sweet smiles you headed out to your next job. Around this time it was hectic for restaurants because they were preparing for the busy dinner time. You rushed to your next job fixing your white button up and pulled the black apron around your waist and fixing your hair up into a donut bun you came down 10 minutes early ready to serve the awaiting guests.

“Hello, how many?” You asked with a sweet tone.

“Two please,” the lady asked.

You smiled and grabbed two menus from the desk, “please, follow me.”

The couple followed you to their table, “good evening, I’m _____ and I’ll be your waitress. Our specials for tonight are…”

Hoya smiled to himself before sighing half-heartedly. He was glad to see you doing the things that made you happy which were to play and tend to children and serving people to bring them smiles. You loved your jobs but in reality you kind of just took on more activities to keep your mind working and Hoya out of it. His hand phone rang signaling a text message probably asking him to go to the practice room. He looked up one more time at your before he smiled seeing your bright and lively laugh before he left.

Myungsoo shook his head, “you need to snap of it. Do you love her?”

Hoya’s eyes narrowed at the younger male, “who are you to ask me that? That is between me and her?”

“I may be just Myungsoo to you, and my opinion may not matter but I am your dongsaeng and I just want the best for you.” Myungsoo said back even after Hoya snapped at him. “Hyung, if you love her, go get her.”

Hoya pondered the thought carefully before a smile appeared on his face as he looked up at his 6 brothers who also gave him encouraging smiles.

He ran back to the restaurant that you worked at. Luckily he was just in time for closing and you walked out with your co-worker.

“Did you get good tips today?” You asked.

She frowned as she turned around to lock the doors, “the same as usual. You know I don’t get as good as you do. The people love you.”

You laughed, “they just like my voice.” You joked and she laughed.

“It’s kind of bad out, are you sure you don’t want a ride?” She turns to face you and ask.

You look out to the dark sky as the rain still fell. But you shook your head at her.

“I’ll be fine. The rain has died down a little from earlier.” You answered her. She gave your hand a small squeeze.

“Arasso, be safe, if you need anything you have my number. I’ll see you tomorrow.” And with that she gave you a small wave before she ducked and ran out to her car.

You watched as she turned on her engine and pulled out before you gave her a wave. You looked ducked and looked up at the sky once more before pouting a little. Taking out your umbrella you open it outside before you step under it. Carefully walking down the steps in your 6 inch heels you’re stopped by a pair of black shoes. You slowly look up and blink at the guy you hadn’t seen in months. Your eyes widened at his sudden appearance but his intense eyes don’t waver one bit.

But before you could even utter his name he takes your hand that’s holding the umbrella and he takes it from you. You’re taken aback by his forwardness until he pulls you close to him and he kisses you. You give in and close your eyes as your hands gently grab onto his arms. Your umbrella is left forgotten beside you guys as the rain continues to fall.

He pulls away and you open your eyes again, “I’m sorry.” He apologies, “everything that I said that day… I never meant it. And I was a coward, for not coming after you.”

As he apologies to you you’re crying and even if it’s raining he can tell because of the expression on your face. He cups your face and kisses your forehead, your cheeks and then your nose.

“I’m sorry it took me so long,” he whispers, his face a mere inch away from yours. And with that you lean forward and take the initiative to kiss his lips.

(Part 3/7)

Woohyun’s standing outside your door with a bouquet of roses. He stares at them ready to knock but he removes his fist and sighs again for the umpteenth time. He lowers his head and shuts his eyes mentally asking himself why he can’t bring himself together and just knock. Just then there’s a cough behind him and quickly turns not knowing how to react if he was caught by a fan visiting someone with a bouquet of roses. But he turned around only to find you.

“Excuse me but I need to get through,” you say bitterly but he doesn’t budge. You stare at him expressionless and ask him to move. “Could you please move?”

“Wait,” he says softly.

You stand rooted and blink at him, waiting for him to continue and when he doesn’t you sigh and push him aside.

“I don’t have time to wait forever okay?” You say as you fish your keys out of your pockets.

He turns you back around and looks at you softly, “just hear me out, please?”

“Shoot,” you say. “Whatever you have to I should at least hear how ridiculous it sounds.”

Woohyuns hurt by your words but he stands strong ready to win your heart back.

“I’m sorry,” he starts.

“Well, isn’t that cliché?” You say with a smirk and he sighs.

“I’m really sorry, you were right, I should care more about your problems than anything else but I just push it aside a hope you’ll get over it. I was stupid to flirt back with her when I could’ve just smiled at her and left her alone. I know she was a close friend but friends don’t do that to each other, only you and I are allowed to do those things together. I’m sorry.” He apologizes. “I won’t do it again, will you forgive me?”

You look up at him letting the silence slowly kill him, “we all make mistakes Woohyun, but why we aren’t together any more were mistakes that happened all too often. You didn’t give me a good enough explanation as to why you never tended to my needs. Woohyun I stood by your side for over 4 years. And that day I was finally done it. It’s true when they say that love is blind because I should have seen it. I meant nothing to you for the longest time and I didn’t even know it. But now that I do know that I’m unimportant to you, it doesn’t hurt anymore because I don’t regret having the relationship we had. Woohyun you were wonderful while it lasted and now that we’re not together, I’m okay. Yeah, maybe it still hurts to see your face,” you say through teary eyes but you smile.

“But I’m okay, Woohyun.” You smile proudly. “Like really, I’m alright. Seeing on TV makes me happy to know that you’re doing well too. I think it was meant to be this way. And if we’re meant to be… it’ll happen. We shouldn’t force something just because we had grown used to it.”

You reach out and hold your hand for him, “friends?”

Woohyun looked down at your hand and his heart clenched, “strangers?” He suggests.

You took a deep breath and nodded, “if that’s how you want it to be.”

He hesitated but took your hand and firmly shook your hand, “thank you.” He says. “You changed my outlook on life and apart from my career, I thought about starting a family, you know to live a normal life.”

You give him a bright smile, “I wish you the best, Nam Woohyun.”

He gives you a smile and nods, “thanks, again. You deserve to be happy and I hope it finds you quickly.”

…

A year had past and today would mark your official 365 days of being single. You sat in your seat in the café with a smile looking at the coffee that was designed personally for you. You carefully blow at it to cool it down and just as you’re about to take a sip of it you hear his voice play in the background music and a genuine smile finds its way to your lips. Before you sip your rather hot coffee and you quietly groan and stick you tongue out hoping the cool air would help you.

Suddenly a soft chuckle is heard and you look up at the intruder only to meet eyes with stranger wearing glasses, a hat, and a scarf

“Uh, hi,” you greet sort of cautious.

He smiles that smile you knew and immediately you soften but you refuse to say any more.

“Here, you’ve got something on your face,” he says and carefully he reaches over and swipes the napkin in the corner of your lips. “There, perfect all over again.”

You’re silent as you stare up at him and he speaks again, “ah, I’m sorry that was rude of me. I never got to introduce myself. Hi, I’m Woohyun. What’s your name?”

You blink at his hand before you let your past go and take his hand, “nice too meet you Woohyun. Would you like to join me?” You ask sweetly and he brightens under his glasses.

“I’d love to.” He replies sincerely.

(Part 2/7)

The door of the café rang as you walked in through the door but you stopped short seeing him. He looked at you with wide eyes. You pulled your gaze away and turned back around in attempt to leave.

“Now, wait,” your best friend said grabbing you and forcing you back around. “You promised you’d stay with me.”

“I lied; I don’t feel like eating here anymore.” You quickly said as Dongwoo’s expression fell.

Just as you’re about to leave out the door your almost run into a chest. You look up ready to apologize but you don’t. Instead you stare at the old friendly face.

“Oh, hey, you, what a coincidence seeing you here,” Woohyun greets.

You fake a smile, “hey.”

“If you’re not too busy, care to catch up with us,” he asks as the other Infinite members arrive behind him.

You open your mouth to decline his offer but meeting eyes with the rest of the members you give in and nod, “sure.”

“So how are you?” Sunggyu ask after they’ve all settled in at their practice room.

Somehow with help of the Sung brothers they had managed to get you to return with them because the café was too public and because their group was too big it’d just catch attention.

“Yeah, one day Dongwoo came back and he was never the same ever again,” Woohyun commented.

“I was not,” Dongwoo defended himself quietly his voice already telling you his was lying.

“What happened?” Hoya asked. “Dongwoo never told us.”

“You guys, stop.” Dongwoo warns.

“We’re only worried about you two.” Woohyun snaps.

“Just because you two aren’t together doesn’t mean we need to cut ties altogether,” Sungyeol adds, “can we not be friends anymore because of this?”

“Look, whatever it is, you two need to settle it now.” Sunggyu stated firmly before he stood up followed by the rest of the members and without another word shared they left and locked you two in the practice room.

You two sat in silence unsure of what to say and where to start. It’s only been a couple days since the day he left your apartment. His things were still there but he didn’t want to come by and get it especially if he wasn’t sure if you’d be home or not. He didn’t want to deal with you at the moment.

“I’m sorry,” you both say at the same time.

You meet each other’s gazes that questions each other’s apologies.

“You first,” he says.

You shake your head, “go ahead, I was wrong so you should go first.”

He smiles a little, “you were wrong so you should go first, isn’t?”

You think about his ruling and you laugh because he’s right.

With a nod you continue, “I’m sorry, Dongwoo. I shouldn’t have jumped to conclusions like that. INFINITE is just as important to you as I am because without INFINITE you wouldn’t be where you are right now I should’ve been understanding and just-”

“No, it was my fault. I could’ve sacrificed some of my sleep just to spend the night with you.” He interrupts. “I mean… I can survive without sleep but I can’t without you. No, wait… I can’t live without sleep either but- if anything living without you would be worse than living without sleep because in the past three days… I haven’t even been sleeping well.”

You chuckle, “that explains the deep bags.” You say pointing to his face.

He pouts, “that’s not nice!” He whines with a rather bright smile.

“Again, Dongwoo, I’m really sorry.”

He shakes his head, “it’s okay, we all make mistakes. I’m just glad we could make-up before it’s too late. I miss you…” He confesses. “Can I come home?”

You look up at him and smile slyly to yourself, “only if you’re willing to spend one night with me.”

He grins, “deal, maybe I can finally sleep after so long. Actually, I’m sleepy now.” He comments as he leans over and kisses your cheek. “Thanks for curing me, but-” His phone beeps and he grins, “just in time; well, it’s time for my afternoon nap.” He informs.

You make a face, “but I thought-”

“I know.” He says.

“How are you going to sleep, you guys don’t even have like a couch or any-” you stop mid-sentence as he pulls your legs straight out and he rests his head on your lap.

“Shh, give me 20 minutes,” he orders and you scoff playfully flicking his forehead making him smile with his eyes closed but nonetheless you obey and stay quiet for the next twenty minutes as you take in his features that had seem to darken in the past three days.

(Part 1/7)

It’s been months since you’ve last seen Sunggyu and just seeing his face on the TV or a billboard sign or any advertisement made your heart weak. You missed him; if anyone asked if you thought about him recently, and you were to give an honest answer, you thought about him every minute of every day. He was a big part of your life and for four years he meant the world to you. It somewhat amazed you to see that you didn’t break down seeing his face. It was even more surprising to you that he looked happier. He smiled a lot more; his singing had more passion and everything. To you it was sort of heart breaking to know that he moved on and lived life better without and here you were still thinking about what life would be like if he were still in your life. To know that you would never and could never find anything like what you two had in a million years was terrible. But then again, that was your fault for making him your everything, your world, your whole, your life. And now that he was gone, it didn’t feel right, but to know that whatever it was you two had was gone forever was even worst.

“Look, you need to snap out of it. I don’t care if you deny the fact that you don’t miss him anymore because I see it. You’re trying and I see it. But I don’t like seeing you like this, hun. It’s been over 6 months, get over it. As much as I love you, sweetheart, he’s gone. If you forgotten you initiated this break up and he followed through with whatever it is you want.” Your best friend sighed.

“Fine, don’t listen to me.” She said softly. “But at least watch this.” She said and turned on your TV. On screen was INFINITE sitting together a laughing.

“What is this?” You asked almost glaring at her.

“Just watch,” she ordered and after a few seconds of trying to intimidate her you turned your head to see Sunggyu being asked a question from the MC.

“Sunggyu-sshi?”

His eye-smile changed to an alert expression hearing his name, “neh?” He said excitedly.

“Recently there’s been a talk about your posts on twitter, could you explain to us what exactly that was about?”

Just then he started blushing, “ah,” he started, “that-”

“That wasn’t a controversy was it?”

Sunggyu shook his head, “aniya. In the past I had this really important person to me, this person was my best friend. Honestly, I couldn’t go a day without talking, seeing, or just listening to this person. But then a misunderstanding came up, mostly on my part. I was so stupid and I had lost the only thing that kept me sane through my trainee days.” He explained thoroughly.

“What happened?”

He smiled softly, “now that was a controversy, it very bad one. And I’ll say it honestly; it ended just as bad, no, even worst because I haven’t seen this extremely important person in months. I accused my best friend for doing something, I know they would never do but I did it. As a result, I was just too much to handle because a decision was made without my consent. And as hurt as I was by the decision, I went along with it. Somewhat, I’m really upset with myself, I was stupid because I didn’t go after her, I allowed myself to drift so far away from something that made me so happy and in the end, I regret it more than ever.”

“So, this is a girl we’re talking about?” The MC asked.

Sunggyu nodded with a sincere smile, “yes. But I’ve heard that she’s moved on and she’s living happily. Frankly, I’m happy for her because now she doesn’t have to worry about hiding herself around me; she can freely do whatever it is she wants.”

“Well, now that you’ve come this far, why don’t you send her a message?”

“Ah,” he covered his face embarrassedly before his members forced him to look into the camera and leave a message. He took a deep before he started.

“How are you doing, it’s been a while, neh?” He said cutely. “I’m doing well and so I hope you’re doing well too. I know our situation is different now, but I want you to know that you’ll forever hold the same place as you did in my heart. You were an important part of my life and helped me through so much, if it wasn’t because of you. I wouldn’t even be here right now.” He bit his lip, “bo-go si-po (I miss you),” he confessed. “Gwomowo,” he finished with a forced smile before he covered his face and tried to hide his tears as Woohyun smiled and hugged him.

Just then you looked at your friend who was sending you her famous knowing smile as you silently cried. Before you knew it, you were on your feet running outside only to stop as you opened the door to see Sunggyu there.

You two stared at each other with wide-eyes, before you throw your arms around him and cried into his chest, “paboya, who told you I was happy? For the past 6 months, my life has been nothing but hell. Seeing you all happy in your ads and your interviews broke my heart because it seemed like life without me was just so much better and so much more blissful. You’re so stupid!” you cried into his chest.

He held you against him and smiled softly as he mumbled incoherent words into your ear, “I’m sorry.” He apologized, “I’m sorry, it took me so long.”

Yes, I do have Exo Scenes but right now I’m currently on a hiatus -.- and I freaking love them so much, not as much as I love INFINITE but I really, really adore rookies, somehow I’m just attracted to them xD however if you would like to read them please go to my Exotic Scenarios <3 Thank you for asking though ;)

If you made a request please check the list and choose one specific member for that request. If you do not. I probably will never get to it. Having on particular member for only one scenario will be easier for me. I hope you all understand. However since I promised to write 7 make-up scenarios. Those are the last ones I’ll have 7 written all together. But even though I haven’t been pretty active I just want to announce that I will be going on a hiatus. My other blogs have become password protected however I will keep this one open so you guys can choose your members. And I’ll only be saying this once. Thank you for all the love and support. I promise when I’m back I’ll be better. :)
